WPSC is a multi sports club founded in 1975 and situated in the village of Styal serving the Wilmslow, North Cheshire & South Manchester community.

The 17 acres of playing fields are in the green belt opposite the entrance to the National Trust Quarry Bank Mill & Styal Country Park and the site is accessed from Styal Road (B5166) between Wilmslow and Manchester International Airport.

The “Phoenix” is home to Wilmslow Hockey Club, Wilmslow Lacrosse Club, Wilmslow Phoenix Astroturf Ltd, Lindow Cricket Club, Wilmslow Football Academy and Styal Running Club.

The site includes 4 full size lacrosse pitches, cricket square and training nets, fitness trail and associated facilities.

The newly built sand based Astroturf has floodlighting and accommodates a variety of sports including hockey, lacrosse, football and fitness training and is regularly used by local schools and colleges as well as local companies, sports clubs and societies. Champion Soccer run a regular 5 a side league on the astro Monday evenings. The Astroturf is frequently used to host international tournaments and high profile sports events. The astro is available for private hire to members and non members at attractive rates.

The clubhouse has a fully licensed bar, a  full catering kitchen and can accommodate parties of up to 100 persons. The social area is available for birthday parties, christenings, conferences, fundraising events, private hire, etc by members and non members alike.

There are 4 new changing rooms with showering facilities plus 2 officials changing rooms with private showers. The clubhouse is fully accessible for disabled persons and includes full disabled & baby changing facilities.

There is a surfaced car park adjoining for 100 + cars.
